Built on the proven architecture of the APEx I Hub System, APEx II delivers all of the same capabilities and more. Utilizing both USB 3.2 Gen 1 [5Gbps] and SMBUS protocols, it can communicate effectively with USB peripherals and smart batteries, all of which can be controlled on the End User Device [EUD] through BDATech APECon software. An integrated power scavenger port allows the users to recharge the system battery from whatever power sources are available. The APEx II is not only modular, it is also backwards compatible with existing APEx I BDATech peripheral and power cables. Designed for continuous future evolution, a gold dot USB expansion surface will accommodate various add-on modules, even furthering mission capabilities. The open-architecture integration possibilities are limitless.
